Mysore/Mysuru: City’s well-known young violinist Sumanth Manjunath is leaving for Europe on a Violin Concert tour starting from Mar.30.
He will be performing in over 6 countries (Sweden, France, Netherlands, Germany, Luxemburg and Italy) at various important venues including the International Music Festival in Mallorca, Springtime Jazz Music Festival in Barletta – Italy, IFAA Music Festival in Switzerland and Brussels Festival in Belgium.
Being invited to perform 14 concerts in a month-long European tour, Sumanth will participate in a project of designing a Special Musical App in Luxemburg along with eminent Jazz musicians Laurent Peckels and Ned Mcgowan.
Sumanth, who recently returned from a violin concert tour of Europe, is now invited for the full-fledged concert series.
Indian embassy in Spain has invited him to conduct a special music workshop and series of violin performances in Valladolid and Alicante. He will also be presenting a paper at the reputed University of Bari Aldo Moro in Italy.
Other noted concerts will be at the Socio-Cultural Centre “Tejaterke” Netherlands and a charity concert for an orphanage centre in Bonn, Germany. Other reputed musicians Sumanth will be collaborating with are Lydie Thonnard and Gilles Carlier from Belgium.
