Mysore/Mysuru: In a significant advancement for women’s wellness in the region, NJ Hospital has launched city’s first-ever Cosmetic Gynaecology Unit at Paduvarahalli.
The new Unit is headed by Dr. D. Sindhu Lakshmi, Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with specialised training in Cosmetic Gynaecology.
Cosmetic Gynaecology focuses on improving the appearance, function and comfort of female intimate area. At NJ Hospital, the Unit offers high-end laser-based procedures, which are non-invasive or minimally invasive, providing fast, safe and effective results with minimal downtime.
HIFEM Chair
The High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HIFEM) Chair is a non-invasive technology designed to strengthen pelvic floor muscles and improve core stability. Patients simply sit fully clothed on the chair while it delivers focused electromagnetic pulses that stimulate deep muscle contractions, similar to thousands of Kegel exercises performed in one session. HIFEM Chair is now part of the Cosmetic Gynaecology Unit at NJ Hospital.
Explaining about the Unit, Dr. Sindhu Lakshmi said, “Many women silently suffer from conditions that affect their comfort, relationships or confidence. With the help of advanced laser treatments, we are now able to offer painless, effective solutions right here in Mysuru.
