Mysuru: Gopala Gowda Shanthaveri Memorial Hospital at Nazarbad in city has received the NABH accreditation (entry level) as well as ISO Certification (9001-2015) and has become the first non-corporate hospital to receive the same.
The recognition is an acknowledgement to quality care provided to patients’ safety standards and services. NABH accreditation process covers every aspect of Hospital management including Fire Safety, Disaster Handling, Infection Control Practices, Equipment Maintenance, Biomedical Waste Management, Near Zero Surgical Site Infection, Mock Drill Demonstration, Infrastructure (Renovated MICU & OT complexes), Customer Feedback, Credential Checking of staff and doctors, Employee satisfaction. The accreditation will be effective till July 20, 2020.
