MMA veteran coach of city M.N. Vikram is appointed as the Team Leader and Head Coach of the Indian MMA contingent for 2023 Junior and Senior IMMAF World Championships taking place in Tirana, the capital city of Albania, between Nov. 19 and 25.
The appointment was made by the National Federation, MMA India recently. This is the 5th time Kru. Vikram has been chosen as the Head Coach for team India.
Previously he has helmed Indian Team to Bahrain, Serbia, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Tajikistan.
The World Championship is sanctioned by IMMAF and hosted by Albanian MMA Federation.
The event is expected to play host for more than 500 MMA athletes from over 45 countries.
The 16-member Indian team is scheduled to travel to Tirana on Nov. 18 from Mumbai along with the Federation President Sharif Bapu, Secretary Prasad Gaitonde and Regulatory Affairs Director Kevin Alfred David.
Kru. Vikram is the Founder-Director of city’s Academy of Martial Science and IMMAF Youth Commission Member.
