Mysuru: Following the footsteps of the MUDA and MCC that is holding a series of Adalats to address public grievances where residents can avail on-the-spot solutions, Krishnaraja MLA S.A. Ramdas has launched a series of Civic Adalats in his Constituency.
The first Adalat in the series was held at CITB Choultry at Siddarthanagar in Ward 53. Deputy Mayor Dr. G. Roopa, District Health Officer (DHO) Dr. K.H. Prasad and others were present.
The second Adalat was held at the Builders Association of India (BAI), Mysore Centre Office at Vishweshwaranagar and many beneficiaries were provided facilities and solutions to their grievances.
Many people received e-shram cards from the Labour Department and the Health Department conducted a free eye camp at the venue and in addition, blood-sugar tests and blood pressure checks were conducted as part of Adalat. This apart, grievances related to water, road, electricity, health, education were heard by the MLA.
A counter that offered free booster COVID vaccine dose was exclusively opened at the venue and several other counters were opened by the AYUSH Department. Ayurveda kits for boosting immunity were provided to all participants.
Similar Adalats were held at Ward 47 near HUDCO Ganapathi Temple on Jan. 25; at Ward 52 in Ittigegud Sri Durgaparameshwari Temple on Jan. 26; on Jan. 27 at Ward 63 in J.P. Nagar Sports Club; on Jan. 28 at Ward 48 Jayanagar Second Main Road at Koushika Sankethi Sangha Nacharamma Hall and on Jan. 29, the Adalat was held in Ward 51 at Nataraja Kalyana Mantapa.
Today (Jan. 30), the Adalat was held at Ward 57 in Kuvempunagar Samrat Kalyana Mantapa and on Jan. 31 it will be held at Ward 64 and 65 at Aravindnagar and Srirampura Bramaramba Kalyana Mantapa, on Feb. 1 at Ward 59 Kuvempunagar Layout and on Feb. 2 at Ward 43 Kanaka Bhavan, Janatanagar.
Adalat will continue to be held on Feb. 3 in Ward 56 and 60 at NTM School, on Feb. 4 in Ward 49 at Lakshmipuram Nanjumalige Gaadi Chowka, on Feb. 5 at Ward 55 Aradhya Mahasabha at Chamundipuram and at Sunnadakeri 8th Cross Ganga Mathasthara Samudaya Bhavana and on Feb. 6 at Ward 54 Kanakagiri Senior Citizens Association.
