Climate workshop for MITM Civil Engineering students

Mysuru: The Indian Geotechnical Society (IGS) Student Chapter at Department of Civil Engineering, Maharaja Institute of Technology Mysore (MITM), in association with Environmental Management and Policy Research Institute (EMPRI), Bengaluru, had organised a workshop for students recently. 

The workshop titled “Short lived climate pollutants and Sustainable lifestyle for Environment” had sessions handled by the experts from EMPRI M.P. Likitha, Dr. Narayan Kayet and Dr. Vinaya Chaitanya, throwing light on climate change and sustainable lifestyle.   The students and faculty of civil engineering took active part in the programme. Dr. C. Ramakrishnegowda, Professor and Head of Civil Engineering,  A.M. Aniruddha, Administrative Officer, S. Varun, B.R. Manoj and  Ashwini, the office-bearers of IGS Student Chapter were present during the programme.
