CM and Minister Byrathi Suresh must quit: Srivatsa

Mysuru: BJP MLA T.S. Srivatsa has demanded the immediate resignation of both CM Siddaramaiah and Urban Development Minister Byrathi Suresh on moral grounds following the setback to CM in the High Court.

Speaking to Star of Mysore, Srivatsa pointed to Byrathi Suresh’s indifference as a key factor that led to the Chief Minister’s embarrassing predicament.

“The High Court verdict is a victory for the BJP-JD(S) campaign, bolstered by media reports and MUDA records. Last month, the Congress held a ‘Satyameva Jayate’ rally in Mysuru, which was nothing but a farce. Now, with the High Court ruling, the truth has been revealed,” he said.

Srivatsa further urged the government to revoke all sites allotted under the 50:50 ratio scheme and redistribute them to genuine applicants who have been waiting for over 30 years to get MUDA sites.

“The BJP’s campaign will see real victory only when this happens,” he added, describing the High Court’s decision as a significant blow to the Congress Government, which had previously launched an aggressive campaign against the Opposition.
