Mysore/Mysuru: Chief Minister Siddharamaiah will be arriving in Mysuru this evening on a three-day visit to take part in Dasara and other programmes.
He will arrive by road from Bengaluru at 5.30 pm this evening, following which he will take part in a few local programmes and stay overnight in the city.
Tomorrow (Oct.15), the CM will take part in the inauguration of Dasara atop Chamundi Hill at 10.15 am. Later, he will inaugurate Dasara wrestling competition at D. Devaraj Urs Multi-purpose Stadium in Dasara exhibition grounds at 4 pm, following which he will inaugurate the annual Dasara exhibition at 4.30 pm.
Thereafter, the CM will inaugurate the Dasara cultural programmes in Mysore Palace premises at 7 pm, during which he will confer the prestigious ‘Karnataka Sangeetha Vidwan’ award on noted musician Dr. Padma Murthy. He will stay for the night in the city.
On Oct.16, Siddharamaiah will take part in the Annual General Body meeting of Alumni Association of Yuvaraja College at Maharaja’s College Centenary Hall at 11 am.
Thereafter, the CM will honour the newly elected MLAs at a programme to take place at Kanaka Bhavan in Siddarthanagar at 4 pm, following which he will leave for Bengaluru by road at 5 pm.
