Mysuru: Chief Minister Siddharamaiah on Thursday evening visited Apollo BGS Hospital here and enquired about the health of PWD and District in-charge Minister Dr.H.C. Mahadevappa, who is undergoing treatment at the hospital for leg ailment since April 18.
Siddharamaiah, who was with Dr. Mahadevappa for more than 2 hours, was accompanied by MLAs Vasu, M.K. Somashekar and Kalale Keshavamurthy, CM’s son Dr. Yathindra, film Director Indrajit Lankesh and others.
Later, speaking to presspersons, Siddharamaiah said Dr. Mahadevappa was admitted to the hospital for clotting of blood in his legs.
The Minister is now recovering and the doctors have told he will be discharged soon, Siddharamaiah said.
Referring to reports on Dr. Mahadevappa celebrating his birthday at the hospital, the CM said the birthday was celebrated by the hospital staff.
