CM to inaugurate ‘Anila Bhagya’ scheme at T. Narasipur on Feb. 11

Mysuru: Chief Minister Siddharamaiah will inaugurate the State Government’s ambitious ‘Anila Bhagya’ (LPG gas connection scheme) at T. Narasipur in the district on Feb. 11.

Presiding over a preparatory meeting in this regard at his office recently, Deputy Commissioner D. Randeep said the Chief Minister will inaugurate the scheme at T. Narasipur APMC ground at 11 am on Feb. 11.

Pointing out that the government has released necessary fund for the scheme, he directed the officials to make necessary preparations for the launch of the scheme and ensure its success.

Food and Civil Supplies Deputy Director Dr. K. Rameshwarappa said that nearly 19,000 beneficiaries of the scheme have been identified in the district, out of which 6,322 beneficiaries will be distributed LPG cylinders, gas stoves and other equipment in the first phase.

Pointing out that nearly 10 lakh families of the State will benefit from the scheme, Dr. Rameshwarappa said there were plans to organise an exhibition of the whole range of schemes launched by the State Government during the inauguration of Anila Bhagya Scheme at T. Narasipur on Feb. 11.

He also said that preparations were in full swing for the launch of the scheme at T. Narasipur and apart from the beneficiaries in the district a few beneficiaries from all other districts too are likely to take part in the Feb. 11 programme.

Women and Child Welfare Department Deputy K. Radha and T. Narasipur Taluk level officials were present.
