CM to inaugurate development works worth Rs.597 crore in N’gud on Jan.11

Nanjangud: CM Siddharamaiah will be performing guddali puja and inaugurating various development works worth Rs.597 crore on Jan. 11 at Nanjangud, said MP R. Dhruvanarayan here yesterday.

Addressing the Congress party activists, he said that the newly-constructed hi-tech Bus Stand worth Rs.8.70 crore, Mini Vidhana Soudha worth Rs.18 crore, Rs.100 crore drinking water project for Hullahalli and other 123 villages and others will be inaugurated at a programme to be held at Vidyavardhaka College Grounds at 12.30 pm.

CM Siddharamaiah, through his transparent governance and able leadership, has fulfilled 155 out of the 165 promises given to the public, he added.

The Chamarajanagar MP also took a dig at BJP stating that the party would never come to power in the State and added that BJP knew the fact they will not be able to form the Government as the survey conducted by the BJP states that the BJP will not win more than 80 seats.

“Union Minister Anant Kumar Hegde speaks ill about the Constitution and also about the Chief Minister. The leaders of BJP do not talk about development but are indulged in disturbing the peace and harmony in the society through their provocative talks.  All these will help Congress party to win 125 seats and comeback to power in the State,” he added.

MLA Kalale Keshavamurthy, ZP Member Latha Siddashetty, APMC President M. Madappa and others were present.
