After holding Janandolana Convention yesterday, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who stayed overnight in city, visited Chamundeshwari Temple atop Chamundi Hill this morning and sought the blessings of the presiding deity. Former MLA M.K. Somashekar, MUDA Chairman K. Marigowda, Sri Chamundeshwari Temple Development Authority Secretary M.J. Roopa, Temple Chief Priest Shashishekar Dixit and others were present. Later, CM Siddaramaiah left for Chamarajanagar to take part in the unveiling of former Governor late B. Rachaiah Memorial at Alur village. He will also participate at the inauguration of Jalapatotsava at Barachukki Falls in Kollegal before leaving to Bengaluru.
