Three-day conference of Karnataka Pandal Owners Federation at Dasara Exhibition Grounds in city from Sept. 10
Mysore/Mysuru: The three-day State-level Conference of Karnataka Pandal Owners Federation will take place at Dasara Exhibition Grounds in city from Sept. 10 to 12.
Announcing this at a press meet at Dasara Exhibition Grounds here yesterday, Gangavathi-based Karnataka Rajya Shamiyana Decoration, Dhwani Mattu Belaku Kshemabhivruddhi Sangha President R. Lakshman said that the event is organised under the joint aegis of the Sangha and Mysuru District Pandal Owners Association.
Chief Minister Siddharamaiah will inaugurate the conference which has been organised with the theme ‘Mysuru Vaibhava’, at 12 noon on Sept. 10. Bebi Mutt Seer Sri Trinetra Mahanta Swamiji, Chamundi Hill Temple Chief Priest Shashishekar Dikshit, Sir Khazi of Mysuru Moulana Mohammed Usman Shariff and Rev. Johnson Paul of Hardwicke Church, Mysuru, will grace the occasion, he said adding that a memorandum containing the charter of demands of the Federation would be submitted to the CM on the occasion.
Continuing, he said that there will be 96 stalls at the venue. Shamiyana owners and decorators from Maharashtra, Gujarat and other States will display outdoor decoration, lightings, tents and shamiyana materials under one roof at the venue. The event will feature a meeting of District and Taluk-level office-bearers of the Association and discussions concerning the shamiyana and outdoor decoration industry, he added.
Sangha Vice-Presidents Munna and Abdul Rehman Wanjhi, Mysuru District Pandal Owners Association President Shivakumar, Vice-Presidents Lingappa and Taj Mohammed, Secretary Shamshuddin Ahmed and others were present at the press meet.
