Mysore/Mysuru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who was scheduled to arrive in city this afternoon on a 2-day visit, has cancelled his city visit at the last moment.
The CM, who visited Chamarajanagar this morning to take part in the valedictory of the 72nd Co-operation Week, will leave Chamarajanagar and head straight to Bengaluru this evening.
The last minute cancellation of the CM’s Mysuru visit was said to be an instant decision on account of an emergency meeting at Bengaluru and other important engagements there, according to sources.
As per the earlier schedule, the CM, after arriving in Mysuru this afternoon, was supposed to stay overnight in city and take part in a few programmes here tomorrow (Nov. 21), including the 4-day centenary celebrations of Sri Ramakrishna Ashram in Yadavagiri.
