CM’s remark on RSS: City BJP members seek immediate apology

Mysuru: Members of City BJP and Sangh Parivar staged a protest in front of Chikkagadiyara here recently condemning the alleged remark made by Chief Minister Siddharamaiah about RSS activists equating them to terrorists.

They averred that the Congress government was supporting outfits like PFI and SDPI. They questioned as to why RSS activists were not arrested if they were indeed terrorists. They sought immediate apology from KPCC Working President Dinesh Gundu Rao and Chief Minister Siddharamaiah for levelling such a baseless remark on RSS activists. They contended that former PM Atal Behari Vajpayee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind have ties with RSS and speaking ill of the Sangh was highly condemnable. BJP leaders H.V. Rajeev, Mallappagowda, B.M. Nataraj, B.V. Manjunath and others  took part in the stage.
