Mysuru: Chief Minister Siddharamaiah will be on a tour to the district on Aug. 29 and 30. The CM will arrive at Mandakalli Airport on Aug. 29 at 10.05 am. He will lay the foundation for the installation of a statue of Sri Shivaratri Rajendra Swamiji at 10.15 am at Shivarathreeshwara Circle here. He will participate in the 102nd jayanti celebrations of Sri Shivaratri Rajendra Swamiji at Suttur Mutt premises at the foot of Chamundi Hill. He will participate in the function organised by Karnataka State Temperance Board at 12.30 pm at Kalamandira here for presentation of ‘Samyama’ award. He will arrive in T. Narsipur at 2.45 pm and launch various development activities at a function at College grounds at 3 pm. He will return to city at 6 pm and stay overnight. He would launch various development activities in Udbur in Chamundeshwari Constituency at 3 pm on Aug.30 and participate in the unveiling function of the Gopura and the statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar at Town Hall premises here at 5.30 pm. He will leave for Bengaluru at 7 pm.
