Co-op. Minister donates Rs. 85 lakh to CM’s Relief Fund

Co-operation Minister S.T. Somashekar seen handing over the donations collected from all Co-operatives in the State to Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa in Bengaluru on Tuesday as Revenue Minister R. Ashok, Co-operation Department Additional Principal Secretary Nagalambikadevi and others look on.

Bengaluru: Co-operation and Mysuru District In-charge Minister S.T. Somashekar on Tuesday handed over  cheques for Rs. 85 lakh to Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa towards Chief Minister’s COVID-19 Relief Fund. The Minister has donated a total amount of Rs. 50.50 crore to the CM’s Refief Fund collected from all Co-operatives in the State.

CM Yediyurappa, who lauded the efforts of Minister Somashekar said that the donations would be utilised for the service of the people.

Revenue Minister R. Ashok, Co-operation Department Additional Principal Secretary Nagalambikadevi and others were present.
