A 10-day special coaching camp for aspiring Civil Judges (Junior Cadre), who have appeared for the Karnataka Judicial Services Examination, commenced at JSS Law College in Kuvempunagar here yesterday. The camp is organised jointly by Mysuru Bar Association, Law Guide Magazine and JSS Law College. Principal District and Sessions Judge P.G.M. Patil inaugurated the camp.
Speaking on the occasion, Bar Association President G.V. Ramamurthy expressed a desire that all the participants should become Judges by hard work.
He added that the coaching would be given by experienced advocates and Judges. He opined that judges should have both knowledge and honesty.
Addressing the participants, JSS Institutions CEO Dr. C.G. Betsurmath said that 60 posts of Civil Judge (Junior Cadre) were vacant in the State and hence asked the participants to take keen interest in the coaching camp and reap the benefit.
DLSA Member-Secretary C.G. Mohameed Muzeerulla, JSS Law College Principal K.S. Suresh, Law Guide Editor H.N. Venkatesh, Bar Association Vice-President H.P. Prabhu, Secretary K.B. Suresh and others were present.
