Mysuru: The District Administration, Pramathi Hill View Academy and Navodaya Foundation together are organising an eight-month coaching camp along with accommodation for aspirants taking up UPSC and KPSC Competitive examination. The entrance test to select candidates for the camp will be held on Nov. 12 at 10 am at Pramathi Hill View Academy in Kuvempunagar here.
Disclosing this at a press meet at Pathrakarthara Bhavan here yesterday, Academy Founder President and BJP leader H.V. Rajeev said that a school of civil services has been established and the first class commenced from April.
He further said that four candidates who took coaching at the school had qualified in the UPSC preliminary examination and 35 in KAS preliminary.
The second batch will commence from Dec 25. The result of the entrance test to be held on Nov.12 will be announced on Nov.30 at the Office of Navodaya Foundation at Ramaswamy Circle. Interview for 200 candidates selected in the test will be held on Dec.12.
Totally 60 candidates, with preference to rural and economically backward candidates, will be finally selected for coaching camp, explained Rajeev.
He said that the coaching will cover both preliminary and main examinations and trainers from various States would coach the candidates.

He added that on the anvil was a coaching camp for IIT entrance test for PU students.
Convenor Dr. S.R.Ravi, Clean Mysore Foundation Secretary Madhukesh, Gundlupet JSS First Grade College Principal Dr.N. Mahadevaswamy and Professor Pranesh were present at the press meet.
