Nayudu Trophy Round VIII-Elite Group A & B tie played at the SDNR Wadiyar Grounds here yesterday.
Resuming at overnight score of 164 for one in 58 overs, the hosts were served by Luvnith and Sujith who added further 23-runs before Sujith departed bowled by medium-pacer Ajith Kumar. Three-wickets of Luvnith (93), Kishan S. Bedare (6) & S.S.Sateri (1) fell in quick succession before K.L. Shrijith (22 n.o.) and M.S. Bhandage (10 n.o.) saw them through. Karnataka gained 6 points from this outright win.
