Communication tips for BEd. students

Mysore/Mysuru: ‘Communication is the process of passing ideas or feelings from one person to another. Communication involves at least two persons,’ said Dr. N.N. Prahallada, former Faculty, Regional Institute of Education (RIE), NCERT, Mysuru.

He was delivering a special lecture on the topic “How to make communication effective” to a group of 100 BEd. students of Vidya Vikas College of Education on Bannur Road here recently.

Explaining that language is a sine qua non (essential condition) for promoting appropriate communication skills, Dr. Prahallada also listed out the top ten Communication Skills — Listening, Non-verbal Communication, Clarity, Friendliness,  Confidence, Empathy, Open-mindedness, Respect, Feedback and Picking the Right Medium. Dr. Rajgopal, Principal, Vidya Vikas College of Education, welcomed.
