Mysore/Mysuru: The Horticulture Department has announced the relief amount for fruit and vegetable growers, who have suffered extensive losses due to COVID-19 lockdown.
As per the scheme, fruit and vegetable farmers of Mysuru taluk will get a maximum relief of Rs. 10,000 and a minimum of Rs. 2,000 per hectare.
The amount has already been credited to all FID registered beneficiaries based on provisional summer and monsoon crop surveys for this year.
The list of non-FID farmers has been put up on the notice board at Horticulture Department and such farmers are advised to contact the Office of Senior Assistant Director of Horticulture before June 19.
