Mysore/Mysuru: A two-day free workshop on Computer Literacy programme, organised by Women Can Charitable Trust at the premises of Edukare ITES Institute, Kuvempunagar, was attended by more than 50 women entrepreneurs. During the training, the participants were educated on the general knowledge to use computer and manage financial affairs.
Attending the valedictory ceremony of the workshop, Bhante Bodhitatva Thera said that “in the current digital era, computer knowledge is essential for all, for the success of business. In this regard, the training workshop organised for women entrepreneurs was a good initiative.”
Prof. M.S. Sapna Nayak, Head, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, University of Mysore, said that “computer knowledge is essential for business management and is very necessary for the success of business. The free training organised by Women Can organisation for women entrepreneurs who lack computer knowledge is commendable.”
Rachana Mahesh, Founder- President of Women Can, said that “the two-day training programme was conducted with the intent of encouraging women entrepreneurs. In this way, we have a purpose to organise more such training programmes that will benefit women entrepreneurs.”
Shantakumari and Bhagirathi, the 65-year-old women entrepreneurs, shared their opinions about the workshop.
Shobha, Nandini and Daksh of Women Can Organisation were also present during the valedictory programme.
