T. Narasipur: In order to publicise the Congress Government’s programmes for the welfare of Minorities, a State-level Meet of Minorities will be held in Mysuru on Nov.30.
Announcing this at a press meet here recently, KPCC Minorities Wing Mysuru Division Vice-President N.K. Fareed said that the Convention will take place at the District Congress office — ‘Congress Bhavan’ — besides City Railway Station on Nov.30.
Maintaining that the Congress has evolved many schemes, initiatives, programmes and projects for the welfare of Minorities, he said the Convention aims to highlight the State Congress Government’s achievements over the past five years.
Thousands of minority community members from across the State are expected to take part in the Convention, he added. KPCC Minorities Wing Mysuru Division President Rafiq Ahmed will address the meet.
Minorities wing office-bearers Ansar Ahmed and B. Mansoor Ali, Sabeel Ahmed were present.
