Bengaluru: Even as the Congress is struggling to put its house in order post the drubbing in the LS polls, senior Congress leaders have demanded the sacking of Congress Party in-charge of Karnataka, K.C. Venugopal.
Maintaining that Venugopal had little knowledge on the ground realities of politics in the State, the leaders accused him of failing to address the Party’s internal issues and his incapability of organising the Party in an effective manner through new measures.
Also charging Venugopal of inaccessibility, senior leaders have urged the Party High Command to immediately replace K.C. Venugopal with some other charismatic leader who can forge unity among warring State Congress leaders.
