Bengaluru: The Congress secured victory in all three Assembly segments in the Karnataka by-elections.
In Channapatna (Ramanagara district), Congress candidate C.P. Yogeshwar triumphed with 1,12,642 votes, winning by a margin of 25,413 votes over his nearest rival Nikhil Kumaraswamy of JD(S), an alliance partner of the BJP, who secured 87,229 votes.
In Shiggaon (Haveri district), Yasir Ahmed Khan Pathan of Congress garnered 1,00,756 votes, defeating BJP’s Bharat Bommai by a margin of 13,448 votes. Bommai secured 87,308 votes.
In Sandur (Ballari district), Congress candidate Annapoorna Tukaram, with 93,616 votes, defeated her nearest rival Bangaru Hanumanthu of the BJP by a margin of 9,649 votes. Hanumanthu obtained 83,967 votes.
