Mysuru: “Leaders of the Opposition are misleading people by volleying baseless allegations against the State Congress Government,” said Kerala MP and Mysuru District Congress Observer Raghavan.
Speaking at a press meet at Congress Bhavan in city on Wednesday, Raghavan contended that the people of the State were mature and shrewd enough not to be carried away by such baseless allegations.
He observed that the Assembly poll on May 12 will be a clash between ‘Dharma’ and ‘Adharma’. He expressed confidence in the voters that they would again back Congress.
Continuing, Raghavan said that the Congress was confident in securing 130 seats and added that there would be no need to form an alliance with any other party. Referring to Chief Minister Siddharamaiah contesting from two Constituencies, Raghavan said that Opposition leaders were talking ill of that concept.
He pointed out that PM Narendra Modi in the past and former CM H.D. Kumaraswamy now are no different as they too chose/has chosen two constituencies.
District Congress President Dr.B.J. Vijaykumar, City Congress President R. Murthy, former Corporator M. Shivanna, Corporator Prakash and others were present.
