Countdown has begun for Congress mukta Karnataka said BJP State In-charge P. Muralidhar Rao here this morning, who was enroute to canvass for ensuing by-polls in Nanjangud and Gundlupet. Addressing presspersons at Patrakarthara Bhavan, he said that the election results in UP and other States would help the party emerge victorious in Nanjangud and Gundlupet by-polls.
Rao also said that CM Siddharamaiah’s position was under severe pressure as many issues of corruption have been cropping up and so there is anti-incumbency gaining momentum.
Former Minister V. Somanna, MP Shobha Karandlaje, MLA Nandeesh Reddy, City BJP President Dr. B.H. Manjunath and others were present at the press conference.
