This evening at around 4 pm, I happened to see as many as five cows grazing in Kukkarahalli Lake. This is shocking as there was a news of the cattle attacking two unsuspecting women, while they were on their regular stroll, a couple of months ago.
As I continued my walking, I spotted a security guard, who was actually chatting with his friend (I suppose). When I told him about the cows freely grazing and the impending danger, he was rather cool in his reply saying that he couldn’t do anything about it, because the authorities are not bothered to repair the broken fence, through which the cows usually enter the Lake.
Are the University authorities listening? Hope they’re not waiting for another such incident to happen, before they take action.
