CPI(M) stages protest against Governor

Mysuru: Strongly condemning the Governor’s action of inviting the BJP to form the Government though it did not have the numbers, members of CPI, CPI(M) and CPI(MC) staged a demonstration at Mahatma Gandhi’s bust opposite the City Law Courts Complex here yesterday.

Accusing the Governor of acting against the principles of Constitution, the protesters alleged that the Governor had acted in a partisan manner by ignoring the claims of the Congress-JD(S) combine which had enough numbers to form the Govt.

Communist leaders H.R. Sheshadri, Basavaraju, L. Jaganath, Ursu, Shivanna and others led the protest.
