Mysuru: The 11th anniversary celebrations of Centre for Rural Education Development and Innovative Technologies of India (CREDIT-I) will witness two new development projects being launched and also the presentation of ‘Karnataka Kanmani State Award-2017,’ said CREDIT-I Managing Trustee Dr. M.P. Varsha.
Addressing press persons at Pathrakartara Bhavan on Wednesday, he said that the 11th anniversary celebrations will be held on Oct. 28 at Jaganmohan Palace at 11 am and SP Ravi D. Channannavar would be launching welfare projects ‘Siri Spandana’ and ‘Parivarthana’ and Karnataka Sahitya Academy Chairman Dr. Aravind Malagatti would be presenting the ‘CREDIT-I’ awards. The programme will be inaugurated by MLA K.S. Puttannaiah and Karnataka Public Service Commission Member Dr. B.S. Krishnaprasad will preside.
‘Karnataka Kanmani’ award will be presented to Chess Grand Master M.S. Thejkumar and social worker H.M. Gopikrishna.
CREDIT-I Honorary Award would be presented to Maharaja College Kannada Professor S. Nanjundaiah and Agri Scientist Dr. C.L. Lakshmipathy Gowda.
