Mysore/Mysuru: Since time immemorial, Cultural and Education Forum activities in Schools and Colleges have been playing a commendable role in empowering students’ knowledge and skills in various areas of societal concerns, opined Dr. N.N. Prahallada, former Faculty, Regional Institute of Education (RIE), Mysuru.
He was speaking after inaugurating the Cultural and Education Forum activities of Vidya Vikas College of Education (B.Ed), Bannur Road, Mysuru, recently.
Dr. Prahallada said the success of Forum activities largely depends on the teachers’ commitment, set of beliefs, values, morale and effectiveness. These activities, if organised on meaningful lines, will help students feel safe, trust others and feel encouraged to tackle challenges, take risks and ask questions. Teachers must act as catalytic agents of positive reinforcement; then alone students will develop better confidence to perform well.
Prof. Raja Gopal, Principal, Vidya Vikas College of Education, welcomed. The first and second year BEd students presented various activities.
