Cultural exchange at St. Thomas School

Mysuru: A two-day Cultural Exchange Fest and Teacher’s Day celebrations were held at St.Thomas Central School in city recently. Students of Benchmarks International  School, Manjeri,Kerala, took part in the cultural exchange programmes  like Yakshagana, Kamsale, Veeragase, Oppana, Nadanpattu etc.

 Renowned Karnatak Classical Vocalist Dr. Jyothi Shankar, who was the chief guest, inaugurated the fest. Mar Thoma Education Society (MES) Secretary  Sam Cherian, Treasurer Rajan Zachariah, Senior Principal Thomas Koshy and Principal Darly Shara Cherian were present on the occasion. MES Manager Rev. Fr. Prakash Abraham presided.

The guest school visited Doora, one of the villages in the district, as  part of cultural exchange between the two States.
