For healthy mind and body, city’s Elixir organisation, in association with Exide Life Insurance and Narayana Hrudayalaya has organised ‘Elixir Cyclothon -19’ on Jan. 27 in city in which more than 1,000 participants are expected to take part, said Nehru Yuva Kendra District Co-ordinator M.N. Nataraj.
Addressing media persons at Pathrakarthara Bhavan here yesterday, he said that the Cyclothon will be flagged off at 6.30 am in front of Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple by Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, the titular head of the Mysore royal family.
The cycle rally will pass through D. Devaraj Urs Road, DC Office, Metropole Circle, JLB Road, Railway Station Circle, Sayyaji Rao Road, Old Bank Road, Gandhi Square, Ashoka Road and will culminate at the main gate of the Town Hall.
He further said that about 200 Trin Trin cycles are being used and the remaining participants should bring their own bicycles. There is no entry fee and prizes. Participants would be given caps, certificates, breakfast and health check up discount letters.
