D.G. Sonde (86), retired Head of the Horticulture Division at CFTRI and a resident of Brindavan Layout 1st Stage, passed away on Jan. 5. He leaves behind his wife Manorama Sonde, son Vinay Sonde, daughter Aparna, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at the foot of Chamundi Hill on Tuesday.
