Nanjangud: D. Puttaraju (Ganesh), Congress leader, Nagarle Gram Panchayat Member and a resident of Nagarle village in the taluk, passed away yesterday at the village.
He leaves behind his wife Neelamma, two daughters and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at the village yesterday evening, according to family sources.
