Bengaluru: D.R. Jairaj was elected unopposed as the new President of Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce at Bengaluru recently.
Jairaj was declared elected unopposed as producers Rockline Venkatesh, Sundar Raj and Narasimhulu withdrew their nomination. In other election, Venkataramana was declared elected as the Vice-President and M. Narasimhulu as Hon. Secretary from Exhibitors category and A. Ganesh as Hon. Secretary from Distributors category.
The election for the rest of the posts will be held on June 29, for which EVMs will be used.
