Mysuru: Guru Vidushi Mithra Naveen of Nadavidyalaya Academy of Music and Dance, Hebbal, Mysuru, was felicitated with the title “Naatya Kala Sindhu” by Raga Samvardhini Sangeetha Shala and Mahila Sangha, at a function held recently at Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha auditorium on JLB Road on the occasion of its 15th annual celebrations.
The award recognised the works and deeds of the noted danseuse in the field of Bharatanatyam.
Vidushi M.L.Bharathi, Senior Karnatak vocalist, Dr. Vidwan R.C. Vijesh, musician, H.B. Subba Rao Dasaru, Director of Vittala Trust were also awarded by Vidushi Anasuya Sudharshan, Founder-Director of Raga Samvardhini School of Music.
