Dangerous bump of Mysuru !

Sir,

One more hump has to be added to the list of dangerous humps of Mysuru. This is at the intersection of M.G. Road  (old Chavadi Street) and Ramanuja Road.

This junction is a point of traffic chaos with frequent jams. Recently authorities have laid a hump on the Chavadi Street side adjacent to another hump which already existed there. This has given these humps a peculiar contour of a bum(p) which is really dangerous bouncing twice the unsuspecting riders and drivers. The idea probably was to make plateau-type of hump. But laying it without levelling the pre-existing hump is asking for danger.

Roads here being quite narrow, these humps have definitely not eased the traffic jams in this intersection, rather it has slowed down the traffic further and adds to the chaos. Policemen posted here are helpless and unable to control the traffic manually. Only installation of traffic signal lights can solve this problem.

This road being the major entry point to JSS Hospital, one of the major hospitals of the city, needs immediate attention of the authorities concerned.
