Dangerously hanging tree branch in Chamarajapuram

Sir,

There are about 70 residents, including children, adults and elderly people, living in the Pinewood Park apartments, located just behind the Lakshmipuram Police Station on Dr. Ambedkar Road in Chamarajapuram.

During recent heavy rains, some branches from the trees on the footpath were broken. Despite our repeated requests, only some of the debris has been cleared by the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC).

However, a major branch, approximately 30 feet long and with a circumference of 30 inches, remains partially attached. It is uncertain when or on whom it might fall.

As our appeals to the relevant authorities have gone unanswered, we are at a loss for what to do next. Serious consideration must be given to removing this hazardous branch to prevent any potential harm. We hope this letter  serves as a wake-up call for the MCC to take the necessary action at the earliest.
