Bengaluru: Karnataka High Court (HC) has on Tuesday issued a gag order restraining media houses from publishing, airing or broadcasting any details related to the 3,991-page charge sheet filed by the Police, in relation to the case of actor Darshan, arrested along with 16 others in a murder case.
The Single Judge Bench of Justice Hemanth Chandangoudar ruled that the Central Government be directed to ensure that, this order is communicated to media houses and action be taken, if any media houses violate the directive.
The order will be in place till the next date of hearing.
