Dasara procession: Applications invited from art troupes

With the grand Dasara procession, marking the culmination of the 10-day Dasara festivities, scheduled to take place in the city on Oct. 24, the Dasara Procession and Torch Light Parade Sub-Committee has invited applications from art and cultural troupes from across the State.  The interested art troupes can apply along with supporting documents and attachments, to the City Police Commissioner, who is also the Sub-Committee Special Officer or to the Assistant Director, Kannada and Culture Department, Kalamandira, who is also the Convenor of the Committee,  before Sept. 30, according to a press release.
