Dasegowda (90), a resident of Palahalli village in Srirangapatna taluk, passed away yesterday evening at the village.
He leaves behind his wide Shankaramma, one son, two daughters and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were held at Palahalli this afternoon, according to family sources.
