Day-long programmes to mark ex-MLA Vasu’s birthday tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: As part of former Chamaraja MLA Vasu’s birthday, Devaraja Block Congress Committee has organised several programmes in city tomorrow.

At 8.30 am on Mar. 25: Health check-up camp has been organised at Radio Park in Nazarbad.

10 am: Blood donation camp and puja at Anjaneyaswamy temple premises on 1st Cross, Vinoba Road, Shivarampet.

11 am: Muslim brethren will hold a programme for auto drivers at Kantharaj Urs Park, behind Meena Bazar, following which clothes will be distributed at Girls Orphanage Home.

Later, at a  programme to take place  in Mysuru Central  Prison, penalty will be paid for facilitating the release of 15 women prisoners from the jail.

6.30 pm: Special puja at Chamundeshwari temple on 30th  Cross, Ashoka Road.

7 pm: Special prayers at Hazrath Syedani on 13th Cross, Chikkavokkalageri, Ashoka Road.

7.15 pm: Sarees will be distributed to women at a programme in front of Sri Jai Janaki Ramamandira, Uppinakeri, Mandi Mohalla, following which senior citizens will be felicitated at Siddappaji Temple, Sri Rajarajeshwari Colony, Yadavagiri Road at 7.30 pm.

8 pm: Babruvahana Kannada Youths Association has organised Pratibha Puraskara and saree distribution at Paduvarahalli.
