Dayashankara Rao Ghanathe (80), retired Divisional Manager of Syndicate Bank and a resident of 4th cross, Kalidasa Road in V.V. Mohalla, passed away yesterday in city.
He leaves behind his wife, one son, four daughters and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at Chirashanthidhama in Gokulam this afternoon, according to family sources.
