Mysore/Mysuru: In the backdrop of the new Congress Government cancelling all nominations to Boards, Corporations, Authorities, Academies and other Government bodies, made by the previous BJP Government, Mysuru Deputy Commissioner Dr. K.V. Rajendra has taken charge as the Chairman of Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA). The previous BJP Government had last appointed Mysuru party leader Yashaswi Somashekar as MUDA Chairman late last year.
Soon after taking charge, Dr. Rajendra has directed the heads of various Departments to submit all Government letters, confidential letters and other Government correspondence matters concerning MUDA, at the Chairman’s Office.
Based on the direction of Chief Minister Siddharamaiah, the State Chief Secretary Vandita Sharma on Monday had ordered cancellation of all nominations made to Boards, Corporations etc.
