Spotting Deputy Commissioner D. Randeep cycling in the area, the environment activists who had assembled at the Kukkarahalli Lake this morning drew his attention to the large-scale letting out of sewage into the Kukkarahalli Lake.
Responding to them, Randeep visited the Lake and the place where pipes are laid for the waste water to flow. Surprised by the volume of the water entering the Lake, the DC told them that he will immediately instruct his officers to look into the issue and find out the sewage is accumulated and let out to the Lake.
