Mysuru: Mysuru DC D. Randeep provided information on drought relief measures to Chief Minister Siddharamaiah during the day-long interaction which the Chief Minister had with 30 Deputy Commissioners via video conference on Tuesday to review the drought situation.
DC Randeep told Chief Minister that all complaints related to drinking water crisis have been addressed.
Referring to fodder stocks, the DC said that there was 300 tonnes of fodder which was enough to meet the districts requirements for a few more weeks.
The recent rains has eased the cattle fodder situation, he said and added that drought relief measures were taken on a war-footing in the district.
Zilla Panchayat CEO P. Shivashankar, Additional DC Venkatesh, Agriculture Joint Director Somasundar and other officials took part in the video conference.
