One month deadline to rejuvenate Devikere, Tavarekere and Kempayyana Katte Kere
Mysuru: A review meeting on works taken up under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) was chaired by Deputy Commissioner D. Randeep at his office here on Friday.
Randeep asked officers of Larsen and Toubro (L&T) and MYCAPS to take up rejuvenation work on Devikere, Tavarekere and Kempayyana Katte Kere within one month.
He added that works at Devikere included fencing, construction of a walkway and steps to the lake along with formation of bund, all at a cost of Rs.15 lakh to Rs. 20 lakh.
He asked all participating industries to submit their budgeted action plans to the District Industries Centre (DIC).
Continuing, Randeep said that the Government had released Rs.15,000 for construction of each toilet at 380 Anganawadi Centres in the district and added that an additional Rs.5,000 was needed for each toilet. He assured that the shortfall would be provided soon by L&T.
Going further, Randeep asked officials of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to renovate the toilets at DC’s office premises and the officials assured to complete the work by end of January next at a cost of Rs.8 lakh to Rs.10 lakh.
DIC Joint Director Ramakrishnegowda, ZP Chief Planning Officer Prabhuswamy and representatives of various industries participated in the meeting.
