DC to stay overnight in village tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dr. Bagadi Gautham will visit Moleyur village in Kandalike Hobli at Saragur Taluk tomorrow (July 16) as part of ‘Jilladikarigala Nade Gramada Kade’ (Deputy Commissioner’s march towards villages) organised by the DC Office,  said Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Dr. B.S.  Manjunathaswamy in a press release. The DC will stay overnight at Girijan Ashram School in Kebbepura.

The State Government has launched the programme with an aim to bring the Government to the doorsteps of villagers and also to connect with the people at grassroots-level.

As per the directions provided by the State Government, all the DCs, Tahsildars and concerned officers will visit villages on third Saturday of every  month and hear the grievances, problems faced by the villagers and provide suitable solutions for them.

The press release further stated that the Officers and Tahsildars will visit Lalana Devahalli in Kasaba Hobli at K.R. Nagar Taluk,  Biramballi in Antarasanthe Hobli at H.D. Kote Taluk, Alanahalli in Kasaba Hobli at Periyapatna Taluk, Ramanahalli in Kasaba Hobli at Mysuru taluk, Ratnapuri village in Kasaba Hobli at Hunsur taluk, Shambudevanapura village in Talakadu Hobli at T. Narasipur taluk and Devanur village in Dodda Kavalande Hobli at Nanjangud taluk and interact with the villagers.
